We decide to check out the gardens at the University here today. We really enjoyed their green houses. We saw types of cactus that we had never heard of. We saw an wonderfully familiar Orange tree. Although it was much smaller than my Grandpas but I got a chance to smell the buds. YUMMY! They even had a coco tree. Look for the picture that has the red pods. There are white slimy beans inside that they dry out to make the coco beans. Their tropical room had a great little waterfall that the kids loved especially L whose foot accidentally slipped in. H loved seeing all the different plants and said the tropical room was her own private island. They had the sprinklers on so we tried to dodge them as much as possible. L found a big leaf to try and cover her head. We had a great time and will have to go back to see the rest soon.
