Christmas Morning!

We had a nice and relaxing Christmas morning with just us 4. We ate doughnuts and of course opened the presents. The girls got Diamond castle Barbies. They were so excited. My Grandma made them art bags with coloring books and crayons that they loved. The whole family got a Wii from Nana and Papa G. We have had a lot of fun playing that too. We are going to have a second Christmas with Nana and Papa H on Wednesday too!

We had our friends Lori, Ava, Courtney and Baby Taylor over for holiday cookie decorating yesterday. It was fun and the girls had their fair share of sugar that day. It helped put us in the mood for Christmas.

We had a hawk fly into our yard today. We really enjoy seeing all the wildlife in our backyard. Its a bonus of having so many trees. We will remember this when we are raking leaves.

Latest ultrasound.

I had another Ultrasound today. It was so fun to see his little face. He is still a "He" which is very a relief. I guess he has some hair. He weighs between 5.8 pounds and 5.12 which is average for this time. We only have 4 more weeks left. I will be having a scheduled c-section unless I go into labor early. We are so excited and will try to keep our mind off it by concentrating on Christmas.

Surfer boys room

Well the nursery is almost finished. I thought I would post the pics. I think it still needs a surf board to practice on. :) The woody car on the dresser and the turtle on the rocking chair were bought for him on vacation.

Gem mining

On the way home we stopped at a store that lets you sift through dirt to find gems. We found aquamarine, garnet, and amethyst. Not very high priced stuff but it was alot of fun. H really enjoyed it, she liked the pretty rocks she found too and L slept through it. I even found a great amethyst and had it made into a ring. Great memorial of our wonderful trip.

We even had a chance to see a couple of waterfalls in highlands area, including bridal veil falls, that you can drive through. The foliage was very pretty too.

Day three of vacation!

We headed back to NC to stay in Highlands which is a city that M and I have been going to for about 9 years now. We just love it here. We even found a great place to stay. We stayed in a cottage overlooking a pond with ducks. The girls fed the ducks and H spoke to them. She says she can talk to animals. L was impressed with the antiques they had there, "Wow" she says "its a telephone". It was a real corded phone, I guess all she has seen is our cell phones.

We shopped and had lunch before heading out of town.

Later that day!

We went to Burts pumpkin farm. This a family tradition that we missed the last two years. We were so happy to go back again. We had lots of fun.

Day 2 of vacation

We met my friend Virginie and her kids at McDonalds for breakfast. Samuel has grown so much and now she has a new baby girl "Manon". Manon is so smiley.

Next stop of vacation

We went to our friends Katy and Steves house. We had dinner with them and no one wanted to leave. I even got a chance to finally meet the newest addition Max, he is 1 now. Just like old times, we had a great time.

Vacation

We went on vacation this week. We first went to the Georgia Aquarium. I posted pics of the jelly fish, beluga whale and in the big tank a whale shark and manta ray( both really big). The girls thought it was so neat. H asked to go back next year for our vacation. We all had a great time.
