Heritage Square

One of the days on vacation we went to Heritage square. The girls rode some rides but some we had to go on with them. Don't you think Papa looks comfortable riding that train. We had lunch and ice cream at a 50s restaurant. They have so much signed memorabilia in there. I think this was the girls favorite day on vacation.

Park and petting zoo.

We went to a park that has a petting zoo and a creek to play in. H loved every minute of it. She couldnt get enough of the animals. L thought it was gross especially the pig. You can see the look of disgust on her face in picture #3 and in #5 she is checking her shoes for poop. It really is funny how different they are!

Dogs ! Dogs ! Dogs !

If anyone of you have had a conversation with my oldest daughter you would know she is obsessed with dogs. She takes a leash wherever she goes in hopes of catching a stray, even though we tell her she cant have a dog. So we took pics of dogs we saw on our vacation. The German shephard is Prophet that we told you about earlier. The first pictures of the white westies are different dogs than the ones at park.

Meeting our cousins

While visiting Nana and Papa we had Julie and Jamie come over. They have 2 kids, Lila and Jack. Lila was so sweet and I think had a great time playing with the girls. Jack is a very outgoing smiley boy. The boys certainly were fighting over the remote.

Playing at Nana and Papas house

Nana and Papas made their house so inviting and fun. Nana made a fairy garden for the girls that H added her own flowers to it. It included a house and benches for the fairies. It also had shells that collected water and became pools for the fairies. The girls now want to make one in our garden. The kids all swam including N who sat in his pool for a good 30 minutes cmpletely content. The girls were complaining of it being too cold so like good little servants Nana and Papa went off to bring warm water to the pool. They have them trained so well. Papa off course brought out his infamous friends Foxy and Buffy. Papa introduced his puppet friends when H was 2 years old and they have been a BIG hit ever since. Every night they came out to talk for a while and say goodnight. Nana cooked with L, always a favorite thing to do of hers. We also made friends with some neighborhood kids and dogs. H was very interested in learning how to train Prophet the dog next door. You will meet Prophet in a later post. Lisa (Prophets owner) was also so kind to bring the girls watering cans and that kept them busy for hours. Thank you Lisa!
What great memories of Nana and Papas house we have.

Trip to Nana and Papas

The first day after we got there we took a trip to tinytown. The girls had a great time climbing in and out of houses that were their size. We also enjoyed riding the train. My favorite house was a storybook house that had Prince Charmings clothes and Horton hatches an egg scene.

N is 6 months old now!

It has been 6 months now since N was born. He is such a smiley boy. He is now taking baths sitting up which he loves. He really likes splashing in the water. He is also rolling and scooting everywhere he wants to go. He gets on his knees and rocks back and forth too. It wont be long before he is crawling.

Fireworks

We are starting a tradition of going to a special spot for fireworks. We met our friends for pizza and brownies before hand. We always enjoy seeing Scott and Amy. Zoe is Ls friend in the picture, they had a great time. She is so animated. She asked me about 10 times if I liked fireworks and which ones were my favorite color. It was cute.
The next day we did sparklers. H loved it but L was scared of them.
