We had a fun day at Latta Plantation today. They had speakers for areas around the historic home to teach on things like journal making, honey bee hives, candle making, cotton picking, cooking and preserving. The kids also got a chance to make their own journal and write with a feather. Ls favorite part was tasting the honey. H was very interested in everything she saw and heard.
