Christmas gifts

As I was preparing jared peaches to give as Christmas gifts I was remembering back to this summer when hubbys parents came into town and helped me can and freeze peaches. We had such a good time and I realized I never posted pictures of it. So here are some moments from their visit. Papa brought some of his letter type that he had left over from his newspaper. It was really fun to write our names with them. We also went to the river for the day.

Christmas cookies

We enjoy making Christmas cookies every year. This year my Grandmother made the girls aprons that match their American girl dolls. They loved them. She also made N and Daddy matching Aprons. They are trying hard to look manly in their picture. I love my beautiful tulip apron.

Choir Concert

H sang in the choir concert again. L was sick and couldn't sing this year. This choir is 200 plus homeschool kids. In the group picture you can barely see H and Ls group on the floor and the older kids on the stage behind. The girls work so hard all year memorizing songs and hymns so they can sing in 4 concerts.

Thanksgiving

We had a great Thanksgiving! We celebrated with my parents this year. We went up to Chimney Rock and saw the gingerbread houses at the Grove Park Inn.
