Easter

This year we were invited to a friends for an Easter egg hunt. We had so much fun. Nathan didnt quite know what to do. I kept trying to get him to put the egg into the basket. He threw one but that was it. The kids had a blast opening their Easter baskets. The girls got money this year in their eggs. That was a fun surprise for them. Nathan got Oreo minis and you can see he enjoyed them.

Nana came for a short visit to see the girls investitute ceremony. The girls had fun with Nana in the backyard. We also went to the botanical gardens. Hannahs favorite part was the tongue plant.

Hannah and Lily are part of a troop called Frontier Girls. They had an investiture ceremony. The girls put on a little skit about etiquette and they received fire safety, etiquette and sewing badges. They even made their own vests. The girls have become great friends with the girls in this group and learned alot. We are so happy we found this troop.

Discovery place

Michaels company had a free day at Discovery Place. It is a great museum. Nathan loved the bridge the most. He enjoyed his new found freedom and walked back and forth across it. Hannah loved the chair operated by air. Lily would have nothing to do with it, mostly because of the noise it made.

Breakfast

The girls decided they wanted to make me breakfast one morning. Their creations included bread with cheese and a hershey kiss in the middle and cheerios with cheese and hershey kiss and cucumber with a hershey kiss on it. Do you see a theme here? I was hoping that chocolate made anything taste good. I have to say I disagree. But it was so sweet of them.

Dress-up

The teacher at CO-OP decided to let the kids dress up for Valentines day. They had so much fun dancing, eating cupcakes and decorating their boxes.

January snow 2010

It snowed here like it does normally one day in January. The kids had so much fun in it, well Nathan not so much. They even played their first snow ball fight with some kids down the street.

Catch up!

Ok I realize it has been a while since I blogged. I will be posting everyday to get caught up for the next couple of weeks. The dates will be wrong on the top. Please forgive me. I have been busy chasing a toddler and my computer crashed. I still have pictures though so here we go....
