Nana Hennings visit.

My mom came to visit this week and we did a lot of fun things. We took the girls to Monkey Joes. We painted at a paint your own pottery store. We read to dogs at the library. Best of all we celebrated her birthday at Cheesecake factory. We had such a good time.

We had went to Waxhaw a little town south of here for a parade for th fourth. Notice the shirts the girls designed and decorated. We met our friends Catherine and Sam there. Later that night we went and saw fireworks.

Surprise!

M decided to paint L's room while I was gone to Denver. The girls wanted to help. Looks like they were playing more than painting but M did capture some good photos. L loves her new room. Good job daddy!

Date at Chimney rock

M and I went on a date today to Chimney rock. We had lunch at a resturant on Lake Lure. Then went on to hike the top of the waterfalls at Chimney rock. It was a hard hike but what a beautiful view.

Happy Birthday M!

We celebrated M's birthday today with a raspberry chocolate cake from Dean and Deluca. YUM! I also added a cute picture of L's pigtails. Her hair is now long enough to play with. Its so fun having girls.

Playgroup went to Imaginon

We had a great time today with all of our friends at imaginon. Imaginon is the childrens museum downtown that has exhibits too. We rode the Lynx train into downtown. Then played with the machines and had story time. Notice L's face in the last picture. She was not happy that I was taking pictures. If you click on the picture you can see it up close. Classic L face!!

I am going to be a mommy again! I sit here looking at pics of my girls and in tears that I love them so much. Ok it might be part hormones but they are wonderful girls. What a blessing to be their mom. That in itself is the best gift. I get the chance to do it all again! I am currently about 6 weeks. I am starting to wear maternity clothes already. Wow, third time is quick.
