Playtime with friends

We went and played with our friends today. My friend Catherine has a baby girl about 3 weeks older than N, although he is quite a bit bigger than she is. The girls love playing with her son. He has the best dress up outfits. Its a nice change from princess ball gowns.

N is 2 months old

N is 2 months (and a week) old now . He is smiling, laughing and batting at his toys. He doesn't cry as much from his reflux but still spits up a lot. He has grown so fast, he currently weighs 13 lbs 10 oz (75 %) and is already in 3-6 month clothes. Im not sure where he got that from. Both girls were tiny. We tease him about his big belly and fat rolls. The doc said its time for him to be in his crib sleeping longer :). We really love having him here.

Zoo

We went on our first trip as a family of five. We had a great time at the zoo. We were a little awkward at handling 2 strollers though. We had 1 for N(that he was never in) and 1 for the girls, they decided they couldn't walk any further. I'm sure we will get better as time goes by.

The other morning L asked for juice in a mug just like mommy, because I have coffee in a mug. She has asked for it every morning since. She wakes up before anyone else so we each get our mugs out and start the day together. While watching her drink her "juice in a mug", I said L you are so cute. She said "Its the smile", very matter of factly. Gotta love what comes out of kids mouths.

Beautiful butterflies in my yard

Today I found the most beautiful butterflies flying around my front yard. They were zooming all around my daffodiles on this sunny spring day. I think they were just as happy as I was to have warm weather.

The girls are having alot of fun with N. They wanted to take a bath with him.Once I put him in he turned his head looked at H and smiled a big grin. L is always asking to hold him and of course she wants to do it by herself. The girls are really good with him and he really seems to love them too.

Sorry abou the turned bathtub pic. Everytime I put it on here it turns it and I cant figure out how to change it.

N is 6 weeks old

N is now a little over 6 weeks. He has grown alot, now about 12 lbs. He is has been dealing with reflux so he eats alot. We are happy to have him here. The girls are so loving with him but hate it when he cries. That happens to be quite a bit lately because of his tummy, but when he is feeling good M can normally get a smile from him. He smiles for us too but he is a daddys boy.
